After a lengthy absence I attended the monthly NSAI sponsored songwriting workshop in Cobb County last night. Got enough feedback on "It's Close Enough" to convince me it needs a major re-write, so am taking it down from my New Songs list for now. I have so much to learn about the craft of songwriting and getting other writers views on my work is very helpful.
After a long cold spell (literally) I finally got back into the studio with John Johnson www.mysongdemo.com to record two new songs, which I will upload here shortly. Now I am off to Ragammuffin Music www.ragamuffinmusic.com for Open Mic for the first time in a LONG time! Looking forward to hearing and sharing music with my friends.
In the beginning was there a Void, and God said "Let the Void be filled by your personal website". "But who is to create this I asked?" And God said "I have chosen Diana Korpi to do this for you, since you must focus on medicine and your music." An Lo, it came to pass that Diana created a masterpiece, and now I can freely associate and muse without the space limitations imposed by the mainstream social networking sites. And God is pleased with his selection of Diana and her work product (as am I).
