Clint’s 2009 debut CD, Arrows From a Warrior’s Quiver, was recorded in Austin and produced by his son, Craig Lawrence, a 2004 Berklee College of Music graduate. Clint’s songs are a blend of folk and country, best characterized as Americana, compared by many to folk legends Gordon Lightfoot and John Prine. Additional influences include his late friend, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Webb, James Taylor and countless others.
Eddie Horst, Emmy Award-winning composer and arranger for Faith Hill, Bruce Springsteen and others, praises the Clint's Debut CD:
"Arrows From a Warrior's Quiver, is a well-written collection of 14 songs mostly in a country vein but also with traditional and folk overtones..."
